Starting my new position, teaching digital media studies at Wheaton College, Norton, MA.
Founded in 1839, Wheaton represents the typical New England liberal arts college. The moment I learned about the ideals of liberal arts education (quite a while ago) I was convince that this is the best way to inspire people, to allow them to unfold many different areas of knowledge. I think for young people, undergraduates, it is superior to the German research university which makes students immediately focus on one topic.
I am very much looking forward to work in liberal arts education.
